The scientific direction of the chair:
Discovery, isolation and quantitative determination of poisonous chemicals and medicines from biological objects.
Twenty master's and two doctor's theses have been defended at the chair since its organization.
Two text-books, about 350 scientific articles have been published by the chair staff. Since 1999 the training of the students have been carrying out according to a new program.
The chair staff always takes an active part in various conferences and seminars. Being the members of the Republic forensic medical men and chemists scientific society, they participate in the annual conferences of this society.
