The scientific direction of the chair:
the pharmacological investigation of the new chemical compounds and studying biological active substances, medicinal plants which are used in folk medicine.
During the last 3 years there have been published 250 scientific articles, theses, methodical recommendations, 2 textbooks and a candidate dissertation was defended.
The chair co-operates actively with such scientific-research institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan as bioorganic chemistry, chemistry of plant substances, physiology, sanitation and hygiene.
