PHARMACY FACULTY
The Dean
Yuldashev Zokirjon Abidovich - Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, assistant-professor
At present the faculty is training specialists on the following directions:
pharmacy
professional education (pharmacist-teacher)
clinical pharmacy
The faculty trains pharmacists with higher education for chemist's shops and other institutions engaging in pharmaceutical activities.
From 2002 training specialists for pharmaceutical lyceums and colleges has begun. Students graduating from these specialties parallel with pharmaceutical activities can engage in pedagogical activities in secondary special pharmaceutical institutions.
From 2005 training specialists in the following 5 Master's degree specialties has begun:
management and economics of pharmacy
toxicological chemistry
technology of medicinal forms
pharmaceutical analyses and pharmacognozy
From 2006 - clinical pharmacy
Annual admission is 150-200 students.
Total number of the students is about 1300 people, 1100 of them are bachelors of the full-time instruction, 47 students are of the tuition by correspondence and 44 students are Master's degree students.
