Master's Degree Department

Master's Degree Department was organized in January 2, 2008. The main activity of the department is aimed at:

• the residents' scientific research work monitoring;
• organizing and control of Master's Degree residents training process;
• analyzing the chairs' work in Master's Degree different directions;
• technical and teaching-methodic providing the science branches taught to Master's Degree residents.

Since 2005the Master's Degree residents have been taught in the following directions:

• immunobiologic and microbiologic preparations technology;
• pharmacological analysis and pharmacognosy;
• pharmaceutical management and economics;
• drugs technology.

Two more directions were opened in 2007 in addition to the above-mentioned ones, they are:

• medicinal plants growing technology;
• drugs production at an industrial level.

The period of studies of Master's Degree students is 2 years.

Nowadays 83 residents are the Master's Degree students, 45 of them are the first-year students, 36 - the second-year students.
