Master's Degree Department was organized in January 2, 2008. The main activity of the department is aimed at:

the residents' scientific research work monitoring;
organizing and control of Master's Degree residents training process;
analyzing the chairs' work in Master's Degree different directions;
technical and teaching-methodic providing the science branches taught to Master's Degree residents.
Since 2005the Master's Degree residents have been taught in the following directions:

immunobiologic and microbiologic preparations technology;
pharmacological analysis and pharmacognosy;
pharmaceutical management and economics;
drugs technology.
Two more directions were opened in 2007 in addition to the above-mentioned ones, they are:

medicinal plants growing technology;
drugs production at an industrial level.
The period of studies of Master's Degree students is 2 years.

Nowadays 83 residents are the Master's Degree students, 45 of them are the first-year students, 36 - the second-year students.
