According to the Regulation, approved by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan the internal control and monitoring department controls the National Program staff training tasks, fulfilling in time the Decrees of the President and the directions of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ministers Cabinet on higher education; the colleges resolutions; the orders and documents of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and Health Care Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan as well as the decisions of the Institute Academic Council.

Within the tasks placed on the department it does the following:

• works up monitoring system and controls the quality of the staff training and the institute professor-teaching staff improvement in skill;
• practically and methodically helps to carry out monitoring of educational standards;
• creates and regularly supplies the data base on the development of training at the institute;
• prepares analytical materials and offers on reforming and improving the training process;
• controls the acting discipline, practically and methodically helps to improve it;
• studies, generalizes and propagates the experience of the Institute advanced departments;
• promotes introducing methods of professor-assistant staff activity evaluation based on rating system.
