The aim of the department is the organization of educational process.

For this purpose the educational department staff constantly:

• improves educational plans and programs;
• works out State educational standards and skill characteristics;
• creates data base of providing each subject with literature;
• controls the providing the disciplines with methodical literature; works out a time-table;
• conducts the work on new directions and specialties organization;
• controls performing the regulation of students knowledge valuations rating system, registration of conducted lessons and students attendance, inculcation of new pedagogical technologies to the educational process.

The department takes part in the work of students state certification, in organizing students admission and final-year students assignment. It organizes seminars, conferences on educational process organization improvement.

At the present time the State Educational standards and educational plans have been worked out in the following directions:

• pharmacy;
• professional education;
• biotechnology;
• industrial pharmacy;
• clinical pharmacy;
• cosmetic pharmacy;

and specialties:

• biotechnology of medicinal plants;
• technology of immunobiological and microbiological preparations;
• economy and management of pharmacy;
• technology of drugs;
• clinical pharmacy;
• pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacognozy;
• toxicological chemistry.

In addition to that:

• directions for course papers carrying out;
• instruction on standardized and working programs making;
• instruction on the chairs reports making have been worked out.
